Anthem and VR titles climb the ladder in this week's UK Charts

FIFA 19 still at the top of the premier league

Following the release of Sony’s “interactive action movie” Blood & Truth, various PSVR titles continue to enjoy a hefty boost in sales in this week’s UK Charts. Astro Boy: Rescue Mission, Doom VFR and PlayStation VR Worlds are among the titles continuing to enjoy latter day success.

It isn’t enough to dethrone a solid Top Three, however. EA’s FIFA 19 still holds fort at number one, with Sony adventures Days Gone and Marvel’s Spider-Man nestled snugly below. Elsewhere in the Top Ten, re-entries were made by sci-fi shooter Anthem, Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 4 and military shooter Battlefield V. With a lack of major new releases in recent weeks, many titles seem to be jockeying for position.

This is, however, momentary. By next week, Activision remake Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will be on store shelves, and if there’s one thing we know about the UK, they lurrrrve the crazy bandicoot. I’m pretty confident the classic kart racer is prepped to take first place on the podium come release day.
