Carrion, the previously announced bloody retro platformer, hits PC and consoles next year

I’m into this

So we got to see Carrion in action last year in pre-alpha form, but today Devolver is ready to give us a good hard look at it. Check out the gameplay video below, which confirms the PC and “console” release window of 2020 for the bloody platformer.

The official description really says it all if you can’t parse what’s going on: “Carrion is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.”

It currently has a Steam page! That specifically states “June 1,” which was not in the trailer.
