Kingdom Hearts is coming to Switch soon, but sadly in cloud form

Prices range from $39.99 to $49.99, with sales

Kingdom Hearts Switch cloud collections are coming on February 10, but there’s a catch, as there often is with various AAA games: it’s a series of cloud editions.

We knew this was coming for several months, but it still stings all the same. Square Enix probably wanted to get them all out at once, but the big letdown is that the Switch could easily handle the first two games at the very least: but with this rollout, it’s an all-or-nothing cloud deal.

A silver lining is that there are demos available if you want to try them out, and you can play them starting today. But without the ability to easily play them on the go without a strong internet connection, I’m not sure I’d bite. These games are lengthy, and conducive to playing them wherever you want at any time.

If you are interested, as of now, you can get 20% off for pre-ordering each piece, and 20% off of the “Integrum Masterpiece” umbrella SKU of all three collections. You can find the full rundown of each collection below, as well as the MSRP of each.
