This My Nintendo ID tag reward might appeal to some of the golfers out there

600 Platinum Points

Nintendo has basically delivered at least one reward for each major first-party game on the My Nintendo service, and now Mario Golf is getting its due: a My Nintendo ID tag.

Live now on the store for 600 Platinum Points, the reward is just what it says on the tin, a My Nintendo ID tag that you can use while golfing, or on airline luggage. It has a picture of Mario in golfing attire on it, the branding of the game, and a little My Nintendo flap so you know it’s a collector’s item, kinda.

That’s it! It’s easily one of the most underwhelming rewards thus far, but with golfing likely on the rise this year, it does make sense and is perfectly on-brand. Though I doubt there will be much arcadey “everything golfing at once” buffoonery going on. By the way, if anyone tries to do that on the links, just look them dead in the eyes and say “I cannot sanction your buffoonery.” Works every time.

At the time of publication, the DC Super Hero Girls bag is still up, as are the Origami King postcard sets, the Mario journal, the Pikmin 3 decals, the Super Smash letter sets, and a Bravely Default II reversible poster. A ton of rewards have completely fallen off the service, and likely aren’t going to be coming back.
