Sorry, third-party programs
Have you ever gazed longingly at the Xbox One’s ability to stream games to a PC? Have you ever wished your PS4 could do the same thing, wished to be taken into the sweet embrace of inFamous: Second Son or Metal Gear Solid V streamed onto your PC monitors in another room?
Well you can thank Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida for making all of your dreams come true, as he has confirmed via Twitter that it is something that is in the works:
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. ?

The tweet’s likely a response to a third party program called Remote Play PC that launched a while ago. As the developer is charging about £6 for the program, which isn’t official or endorsed by Sony, chances are PC Remote Play won’t last for long following this announcement.
Still, it’s nice that it seems to have given Sony the kick up the arse they needed to get the remote play ball rolling officially. There’s no confirmed date, nor any further information about how exactly it’ll work, but we know it’s coming now.
It’s not exactly the PC port of Destiny I’ve wanted, but it comes close!
