What might get lost amidst talk of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII‘s whacked out story and amazing dress up system is that you can fight monsters. Though you would know that if you downloaded the demo. If you haven’t, watch this video that focuses on the battle mechanics.
It’s a little surprising people have been too busy to cry foul about the new gameplay system, which is basically an action game, with full movement and evade mechanics. I guess people have given up hope.
