New Mega Man you say? Well, there is one! Sort of
When people say “Mega Man is dead, I wish Capcom made more games from that franchise” it’s not entirely true. Well it is, kind of, but there is also a Mega Mangame out that’s constantly updated — Rockman Xover. It’s a mobile game that also doubles as a “social RPG” (groan), that involves automatic scrolling gameplay.
Capcom is constantly tweaking its microtransactions and adding bosses, which would be non-news if they didn’t look so cool. First it got the very neat Phoenix themed boss Rosso, and now it’s getting Blu D — a tortoise themed enemy. He even has fan art already!
All I can really do is quietly shake my head in a corner and go “I wish I could fight them in a real Mega Mangame.”
