The Steam Link sounds intriguing

Today is a big hardware day for Valve. The Steam Controller ($49.99), Steam Link ($49.99), and Steam Machines (starting at $449.99) have officially launched in North America and Europe.

Impressions of those devices have been mixed, but Chris had enough good things to say about the Link to recommend it. The device allows you to stream games from your PC to your TV at 1080p — a much more affordable option for living-room gaming than buying a mini-PC, in other words.

Whether you’re planning to get a Steam Machine or not, today’s game sale is worth a look.
