The Large Pixel Collider is better than your gaming PC

Bow before the new leaders of the PC master race

Look out PC master race, there’s a new custom gaming PC looking to put your rig to shame. Known as The Large Pixel Collider, the passionate, and possibly demented, folks at PC Gamer have put together a monster rig that will not only keep them on top for years to come, but will push the limits of what a powerful gaming PC can accomplish.

To recap the key components, this beast has a custom PC case to house 64GB of RAM, four GTX Titan GPUs (those by themselves are worth about 4-5 modestly priced gaming computers), an ASUS X79 motherboard, and a i7-4960x CPU, just to name a few. It certainly looks like it’s a handful to maintain, and I don’t what to know how much power this thing consumes; but I’ll admit to feeling a twinge of envy when they first powered on this creation.

What do you think? Is this a massive overkill that only supremely hardcore PC gamers will want, or perhaps this is something you’d invest in if you had the means. And by means, I’m talking about thousands of dollars in disposable income.
