There’s also a Day-One Edition

If you’re committed to getting Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight BelowI am, after playing two short levels — then there are a couple of things to be aware of. The hack-and-slash game releases on October 13 in North America and October 16 in Europe, and pre-orders for the Slime Collector’s Edition ($99.99) and Day-One Edition ($59.99) are now open.

The former option is exclusive to the Square Enix Online Store. Besides the cute trinkets, this collector’s edition includes nine Slime weapons and two bonus maps. Dragon Quest Heroes‘ Day-One Edition just comes with (some of) the weapons. If you order either version through Square Enix, the publisher will throw in Dragon Quest III costumes for Luceus and Aurora.

Shame Square couldn’t have slipped in some slime bubble wrap.
