We’ve fallen into something of a weekly routine here. As long as Epic keeps giving away free games every week, we’re gonna keep writing about them.
Last week, I feigned enthusiasm for Surviving Mars(Ha, you were deceived!), a Paradox-published city builder about colonizing Mars. This week, the enthusiasm is real — and you have my word that I won’t pop back up next Thursday to tell you that you were tricked again. Remedy’s Alan Wake’s American Nightmareis freeon the Epic Games Store this week, and that’s a game that I wholeheartedly recommend.
There’s more! If American Nightmare‘s surreal dreamscape time loop isn’t your thing, Bloober Team’s cyberpunk brain-infiltrating horror game Observeris also free. Two titles with no shortage of compliments paid their way, right in time for Halloween too.
