To celebrate the Halo World Championship finals today, developer 343 Industries has released a free REQ pack to all Spartans.
The pack also includes the Challenger armour set and the new HaloWC emblem.
And that’s not all. If you’ve been waiting to see how the new Warzone Firefight mode shapes up, 343i spilled the goods with a new trailer than debuted at the championship competition.
“Warzone Firefight is an ambitious new multiplayer experience that takes the initial promise ofHalo 5’sWarzone multiplayer – the epic battles, incredible scale and huge maps – and applies that to create the biggest Halo cooperative experience ever in franchise history,” states the press release. “In Warzone Firefight, up to eight players will work together to complete five rounds of increasingly difficult, dynamic objectives set against a timer to emerge victorious.”
“Warzone Firefight will feature more enemies than ever – including a brand new tier of “Mythic” enemy bosses. Thought the Warden Eternal was menacing? You ain’t seen nothing yet. Warzone Firefight features the most on-screen enemies in the history of the franchise, making for frantic and exhilarating matches.”
Warzone Firefight is coming to Halo 5: Guardians later this year. Question is, will the Covenant enemy teabag me as often as my PvP comrades do?
