Gather your party

If the latest speculation surrounding Larian Studios is to be believed, E3 2019 should be a banger for RPG fans. How does Baldur’s Gate 3 from the folks responsible for Divinity: Original Sin sound?

It all started with a requisite teaser website depicting a generic fantasy-game-looking “III.” The landing page on Larian’s site currently shows a weathered logo and little else, at least on the surface. But if you dig a little further, as the internet is liable to do, there’s more to go off. We’ll see what’s up at E3. Either way, the PC Gaming Show on Monday, June 10 is a likely candidate for an announcement. Separate from the potential Baldur’s Gate business, Larian also has Divinity: Fallen Heroes, a tactical spin-off of sorts, due out later this year. They’re keeping busy up in Belgium.
