Dynasty Warriors + L4D = Grimm Eclipse

Rooster Teeth’s popular animated series RWBY is getting a gamecalled RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, and is up for you to vote for on Greenlight should you want to.

Grimm Eclipse is a four-player co-op hack-and-slash that seems like it borrows some elements from the Dynasty Warriors and Left 4 Dead series, as well as a leveling system more often found in MOBAs.

You’ll be able to play as four of the lead characters (Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang), and the game is meant to include a new story as opposed to just adapting the series. This all sounds pretty neat if you’re a fan ofRWBY, but for those who’ve not watched it yet it might be a little difficult to get into.

RWBY was originally created by Monty Oum, who, unfortunately, passed away back in February. The series is known for its high-speed and detailed fight sequences (seriously you should watch RWBY if you like over-the-top fighting), so whether Grimm Eclipse can replicate that will probably be critical to its success.

Still, I really like RWBY,and I have enough friends who do too that we could probably get some enjoyment out of this when it comes out. We can also loudly and obnoxiously sing Time to Say Goodbye while doing it, so that’s good enough for me.
