That special Call of Duty reveal event is currently going on and it’s full of cliched behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with people feigning excitement for the new game. It’s basic marketing 101 stuff, but we did get a reveal trailer for the new game. While the trailer states “in-game footage,” I’m not holding my breath.

Along with the trailer comes a Tweet from Sony that confirms the game will be taking place exclusively in the European theater of World War II. I suppose going with a well wrung story is a good way to excite people, since it has the most memorable and well talked about battles of the entire war.

The game will officially be launching on November 3 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. There is no mention of Switch, but I’d be really surprised if Activision actually ported the game to Nintendo’s new console. The last Call of Duty to land on a Nintendo platform was Ghosts for the Wii U in 2013.
