So good.

Remember us telling you about the upcoming JRPG-inspired 16-bit noir detective game, named Pixel Noir? Its music was composed by SWDTech’s audio lead, Kunal Majmudar, who you might know fromthe game music cover band, The OneUps, and the remixing group, The Bad Dudes. The sound is a mix of JRPGs of the past, from 8-bit up through the PlayStation years. I think it’s like a SNES JRPG with NES sounds, sprinkled with all the benefits of modern technology.

You can listen for yourself on their newly releasedPIXEL NOIR: Super Mysterious Detective Sampler, currently available on Bandcamp. Free. And it’s Very Good Stuff.

As part of their Kickstarter campaign, the full digital soundtrack will be available for those that support at the $25 level, while the physical comes for those that put down $100.
