I’m always talking up the super sentai management sim/turn-based strategy game Chroma Squad(it is real, real good!). Despite working onChroma Squadfull time, its designer and artist have been working on Relic Hunters Zeroon the side for the last month.
This is a side project? It looks good as heck! Holy guacamole, Batman. And it’s…free? Like, just free? No micro-transactions? And open-source? And if we convince them, they’ll make it, “a full commercial game…which would be WAY more ambitious, something like The Legend of Zelda meets Borderlands.” I think I speak for everyone when I say, “Yes, please. Do it.”
