Two factions and eight maps for $19.99

If I were going to get into Company of Heroes 2 at this point, I’d likely just wait for a Steam sale, but options are appreciated. On June 24, Relic Entertainment will launch a standalone multiplayer release for its World War II real-time strategy game, titled The Western Front Armies.

The bulk of the content is represented by two new armies — the US Forces and the German Oberkommando West — plus eight new maps. Think of this as a way for players to get into Company of Heroes 2 at a lower price ($19.99, or $12.99 for one army). They’ll be able to play the 23 maps from the base game in auto-match and compete against all of the existing factions.
