Yesterday, we learned that the Xbox One would support eight controllers simultaneously, a jump from the 360’s four controller support.
Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida confirmed on Twitter that the PS4 would only support four controllers, a downgrade from the PS3’s simultaneous seven controller support and half of the One’s eight controller support. It’s not called the PlayStation 4 for nothing.
A lot of people in the comments of the Xbox One article noted that the PS3’s seven controller setup was great for sports games. Is this a game changer for anyone?
