Giveaways galore

We’ve got another contest for you guys! Today we’ve got The Gardens Between on the docket.

I don’t often cry as a result of media experiences — especially not from video games. It’s not that they’re poorly written, it’s just that most games I’ve played haven’t quite hit those emotional cords for me. I think the last time I was really hit was in Final Fantasy X when [redacted], causing [redacted] to [redacted]. It set up the somewhat kooky plot to X-2, but [redacted] is the reason [redacted] became [redacted]. It’s good stuff! (Events have been redacted as to prevent spoilers.)

The Gardens Between looks like it’s swinging for the emotional fences.

I’ll let the developer handle this one:

Light the way through a dreamlike world to guide best friends Arina and Frendt through a world of time-bending puzzles. Manipulate time backwards and forwards to uncover clues and find solutions that ignite constellations of memories written in the stars.

The duo embarks upon an emotional journey exploring precious moments from their past, understanding how the flow of time changes what they’ve built and cherishing what remains. The friends revisit a period in life when friendship meant the world, by trekking across isles peppered with nostalgic relics of their childhood.

*sniff* I’m not crying, my eyes are just sweaty.

To get your cry on, comment below with your platform of choice and the last time a video game really hit you in the feels. I described mine above, but I also cried the first time I saw the Royal Rainbow in Katamari Damacy. It was just so beautiful!

We’ve got 10 PS4 NA, PS4 EU, and Steam keys each to give out. Make sure you comment using a Dtoid account, and that your account is updated with your current email address. If I can’t email you, you’ll have to find another partner to cry with.

The Gardens Between is available now forNintendo Switch, PlayStation 4(NA,EU),Steam, andMac App Store.
