What the hell did I just type?
Today’s contest is for a Steam copy of bullet hell shmup Azure Reflections!
This one is a bit out of my personal wheelhouse, but I figured you guys would enjoy it. There are magical fairies flying around shooting stuff. Bullets or energy beams or some shit are flying all over the place. I had an epileptic seizure about 12 seconds into the video. Yeah, I think this is right up Dtoid’s alley.
Azure Reflections released on Steam today, and we’re giving away some copies so you can figure out what the [bullet] hell is going on!
I honestly have no clue what’s going on. Normally when this happens I’ll just copy and paste some press release stuff, but I’m not going to do that. Today, I’m going to try to explain this game. So, based on what I could gather from the trailer, something called The Scarlet Mist Incident has returned. Allegedly it’s unknown who the culprit is this time. I guess this happens a lot? I don’t know. Anyway, a witch, an ice fairy, and a librarian or something have to fly around and avoid getting hit with spells and shit to try to stop it. There’s a viewer mode where if you try to look up the character model’s skirt the game doesn’t show anything good. You can put moustaches on your magical girls for power-ups.
All I know is it’s a bullet hell game, and it doesn’t make any goddamn sense to me. Can you figure it out? If so, tell me what’s going on. Just give me something, man. Anything. That’s how you enter this contest — make sense of this for me.
