Filters. Everyone uses ’em, and that’s why everyone has a dog nose or big anime eyes. A photo doesn’t make its way online anymore without some touchups and enhancements. That’s life in the Insta-age.

Most everyone expects Cyberpunk 2077to look great, but the photo mode is going to take it to a whole new level. CD Projekt Red released a trailer that showcases all the photo mode’s features, and there are a lot of ways to gussy up your screenshots.

Here are the various effects and customization options across all of photo mode’s categories:

  • Camera type
  • Preset
  • Field of view
  • Rotation

Depth of Field:

  • Depth of field enabled or disabled
  • Auto-focus
  • Aperture

Pose:

  • Category
  • Pose
  • Muzzle flash
  • Expression
  • Look at camera
  • Rotate
  • Left/Right
  • Close/Far
  • Character visible

Effect:

  • Exposure
  • Contract
  • Highlights
  • Vignette
  • Chromatic aberration
  • Grain
  • Effect

Stickers:

  • Can have up to five stickers enabled
  • Frame
  • Background

Seeing it in action is much more impressive, though. Midway through the trailer, an ordinary explosion leads to a very cool “embrace the anarchy, V for victory” pose. It seems as though nearly any moment in Cyberpunk 2077will lend itself to being photographed. Being able to change the character’s expression at any time is a neat touch.

Last month, Spider-Man: Miles Moralesgot a very cool photo mode. Now Cyberpunk 2077seems as though it’s surpassing expectations too. This next generation of games is going to redefine how elaborate and accessible photo modes are, and it’s going to lead to some insanely awesome artistic captures.
