I’m still not down with the ‘Disney vault’ style system
Later this year Bungie set to introduce the controversial “vault” system intoDestiny 2.
In short, certain elements will be sunset (removed) from the game, possibly to return at a later date. That includes items as well as full-on activities and events. Any long-termDestiny 2fans will certainly remember theLeviathan, Eater of Worlds, Spire of Stars Crown of Sorrow and Scourge of the Past raids: well, those are being sunsetwhen Beyond Lighthits in September.
The good news is that Bungie is allowing them to be farmed indefinitely without the weekly lockout restriction. In other words, you can run any of these raids multiple times a day and earn rewards constantly: without having to wait a week. Ancillary exotic rewards are also included in this imitative, and Bungie is throwing in a list of cosmetic rewards for completion (which you can view below).
If you finish them all, you’ll also “earn the right to purchase” a real-life ring through the Bungie store. I still have the original Destiny 1Moments of Triumph shirt!
