Today is the day in the Fallout universe that “the bombs dropped” aka “Fallout Day”. So what does publisher Bethesda have in store for fans of the post-apocalyptic RPG series? The announcement of a paid subscription service for Fallout 76, that’s what.

“Fallout 1st” will offer private worlds for you and up to seven fellow wastelanders, unlimited storage in the new Scrapbox, a placeable fast-travel point, an exclusive Ranger Armour outfit, an icon and emotes pack, as well as a bonus of 1,650 Atoms a month, to be spent in the in-game atom shop. This service will run you $12.99 per month, or $99.99 for a yearly subscription.
