‘Not at all,’ says Uematsu
Nobuo Uematsu, the beloved composer of Final Fantasy VII (and the most titles in the series), will not be contributing to the soundtrack for Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake.
While speaking with French outletJeuxVideo, Uematsu was asked whether he was involved with the recently-announced PlayStation 4 project. “Not at all,” Uematsu replied, suggesting either his music is being rearranged by other composers or Square Enix is moving in a new direction.
