Final Fantasy XV's last DLC is out today

Goodnight, sweet prince (I’ve used this joke before but Noctis is a prince, get it)

After a lengthy nearly three year run (!) Final Fantasy XV‘s content is coming to a close.

It was hard to keep track of everything, from the pre-release demo with exclusive content, to the three gaiden add-ons to the “Royal” edition and even a multiplayer component, but with today’s drop of Episode Ardyn it’s all done. Former directorHajime Tabata has moved on to his own studio and the dream is over.

Although it has a decidedly mixed reception this far removed from launch,Final Fantasy XV was a hell of a ride for me. I was initially taken aback by the sheer outpouring of XV and Noctis related crossovers but eventually was swept up in the flood. Noctis is here to stay and that’s fine with me.

You can get a quick rundown of Episode Ardynin the trailer below.

If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch the anime prologue for free.
