GameStop is running a buy one, get one free Pokemon trading card and collectible sale

Deck building time

GameStop has been running some decent pre-holiday sales events in the past few weeks and one such promotion is a collectible clearance sale where you can “Buy One, Get One Free” on qualifying items. While collectible in itself is a vague word (especially when it comes to GameStop), a quick scan of the eligible items shows trading cards and figurines being the top-selling items.

The top of the list includes various deck sets of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, one of which is a pricey Sun and Moon Elite Trainer Box for $35.97 (so you can essentially get two boxes for this price). You’ll also find XY Evolutions, Steam Siege, and Legendary Birds Battle Decks.

In the figure department, The Walking Dead series has eclipsed the Sonic and Link Nendoroid figures. As you browse through the pages you’ll invariably see more and more “collectibles” that are probably items you’ll find at a suburban garage sale.

Here are some items we think may be worth checking out in this sale:

Trading Card Games

  • Yugioh Movie Gold Boost — $8.97(list price 39.99)
  • Pokemon Trading Card Game XY Evolutions Deck— $6.97 (list price $12.99)
  • Pokemon Trading Card Game Steam Siege Deck— $6.97(list price $12.99)
  • Pokemon Trading Card Game Sun & Moon Elite Trainer Box — $35.97(list price $39.99)

  • Wonder Woman Statue Figure — $35.97(list price $39.99)
  • Marvel Gallery: Spider-Man Symbiote Suit Figure— $44.97(list price $49.99)

As with all B1G1 Free offers, the free item is the lower price of the two you’re purchasing. The promotion runs through this Sunday, November 12. Discount is automatically applied during checkout, so if you don’t see it being applied, the sale has either ended or the particular item you’re looking at isn’t eligible.
