Sweet sleds too

Aside from all of the shiny new PS4 stuff they’re showing off, Sony also brought along Gran Turismo 6 to San Diego Comic-Con this week. They’re showing some of the new tracks here on the show floor alongside the game’s new physics and rendering engines.

All of this is being shown in some pretty slick GT6 race sleds in the PlayStation booth. The lines are long, but it’s worth the wait to get into one of these sweet rigs, complete with GT Logitech wheels and pedals, HD display and stereo sound.

As for the new courses shown here, we’ve seen the Silverstone Circuit before. Today we also saw the mountainous (and very pretty) Matterhorn course. The Willow Springs International Motorsports Park is a desert raceway with big turns and plenty of places to spin out and totally invalidate your lap. The new GT6 rendering engine pumps out some nice visuals for all of these new courses, as each feature slick lighting and a high level of detail.

You can get a better look at these courses and that sweet 15th anniversary race rig they have here at SDCC in our gallery.
