This revelation is resurfacing thanks to therecent Nintendo leakthat exposed a ton of never-before-seen high-resolution assets from SNES through N64-era games. AResetEra userdutifully reminded us that the Lens of Truth has lips. Photos of therender on the Zelda wikiconfirm that the lips were there in a lower-res upload back in 2012.
Eight years. I’ve been walking around for eight years, just living and not knowing this unsettling truth. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.
