Can’t stop, won’t stop the music

Sega has announced a brand new Nintendo Switch title starring international idol Hatsune Miku. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 is currently in development for a Japanese release in 2020.

Of no surprise to anybody, this latest jaunt featuring the Vocaloid gal is a rhythm-action title that will let Miku’s superfans mash buttons along to a whopping catalogue of 101 songs, comprised of tracks old and new. For those of you on board for the gal herself, Mega 39 will launch with 300 costumes (or “modules”) allowing you to style the tie-loving lass as she struts and warbles her way into your heart.

Ten brand new songs have been recorded for the release, and are also expected to be added to PS4 release Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone at some point next year. There is currently no word on whether Mega 39 will see a worldwide release, but with its simplistic gameplay, I doubt the language barrier will be too much of an issue for die-hard Miku fans.
