There are some solid-looking titles this month

Some of the recent batches of titles to come through Steam’s Greenlight program have been underwhelming, but this latest batch of 50 games has some promising titles in it. Included in February’s update is a game Darren only just talked about, the minimalistic rhythm puzzler Circuitsand the promising sci-fi dungeon crawler StarCrawlers.

Also included is the space survival sim Galactic Princess, the retro platformer Krunch, the 2D stylings of Interstellaria and the retro shmup ULTIONUS. There are some interesting titles I hadn’t seen before, especially the cel-shaded stealth title Path of Shadows, which looks like an interesting mix of your favorite ninja games coupled with a great art style.

Both The Last Cargo and Daina: The Herbarium look intriguing as well. I just wish games that release through Greenlight find their way onto the main Steam store more quickly; there are plenty of titles from early in 2013 that I’m still really keen to play. Of course, a few of these games are available to buy already either directly from the developers or other online stores. Problem is: I end up buying games a second time when I see them pop up on Steam. Really, I’m just annoyed at my failing memory.
