FIFA? I hardly even know her!

Japan has teamed up with Adidas and The Pokemon Company for a promotional campaign leading up to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. That Mary Sue pocket monster is taking advantage of the weight its shed over the years to lead Japan’s national team.

Meowth, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chespin, Froakie, Fennekin, Pancham, Helioptile, and Litleo also make appearances. Only Froakie has a game face on, of course, after years of diligent training while his homies are going to attempt to win with the power of friendship and smiles.

I hope that giant Pikachu mascot suit will be in attendance with some poor soul inside braving Brazillian heat for the sake of the brand.
