Today in “things I really want to be localized but probably never will,” I’ve come across Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX, an upgraded port of a PSP game from 2010 that was developed by From Software, strangely enough.
In MHD, you play as a chibi version of one of the Felyne cat creatures from the Monster Hunterseries in an Animal Crossing-esque game about style, village management, battling monsters, and raising creatures like Chao from Sonic Adventure; basically all the best parts of the games it is influenced by. The 3DS port looks to add in a Mario costume and a cameo from everyone’s favorite loan sharkraccoon, Tom Nook!
The embedded video above was taken from the latest Capcom TV episode. Gameplay can be seen at around 13 minutes in and a new trailer is toward the end at 37:45. Who do I have to make a sacrifice to in order to get this game localized?
