If there are any Dragon Quest fanatics in the house, they’re out Christmas shopping. It’s just me, guy who played Dragon Quest IX but remembers almost nothing of the DS role-playing game.
That said: I love Hyrule Warriors, my introduction to developer Omega Force, and plan to stick with the game far into next year. (Those never-ending Adventure maps!) Seems like a safe-enough bet that I’ll like Dragon Quest Heroes despite my unfamiliarity with the long-running series from which it draws. The wonderful monster designs alone should carry my interest.
