Japan: console and game sales plummet following Golden Week

After a boom in sales for one of the longest holidays of the year, sales receded back to lower-than-average numbers across the board. Basically, everything evens out. Sales should begin to return to average figures in the following weeks.

The only new title released this week was the Attack on Titanvisual novel. It sits two spots above NieR: Automatawhich continues to make a strong showing. The Nintendo Switch sold less than 40,000 for the first time since launch.
