Sony’s on a two-month streak. After serving up the delightfully manic Overcookedand the delightfully macabre What Remains of Edith Finchin May, Sony has another pair of winners plated for next month.
In June, PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to Sonic Maniaand Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. The former is the best Sonicgame in years. It’s the rare Sonictitle that captures what made those Genesis games so beloved. It’s a gem.
As for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, this is clearly an opportunity for a tune-up before Borderlands 3launches in September. Get the gang together, do some shootin’, do some lootin’ — you know the drill. Also, The Handsome Collectionis made up of Borderlands 2and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel; that means you’re technically getting three games in June. Bonus game!
