Unky Death!

I may have bounced off Let it Die when the going got tough, but I do love the game’s skateboarding grim reaper Uncle Death and hope he sticks around. In a short but sweet announcement picked up by GameSpot, GungHo Online Entertainment announced a PC release of Let it Die for Steam this fall.

It’s official: @LETITDIETheGame is coming to PC. #LETITDIEhttps://t.co/jELEhtkY4m

Grasshopper’s free-to-play hack-and-slash game first launched on PlayStation 4 back in December 2016. Since then, it has accrued four million downloads. It’s a tricky game, one that can feel too unforgiving and slow-moving when you hit a wall, but Let it Die has its peculiar charms.

I reached out to GungHo to ask about potential loyalty rewards for PS4 players who switch to Let it Die on PC, and also asked about player progress carrying over (which is a bit of a longshot).

“The team can’t comment right now but will be discussing more about the game at PAX West!”
