Microsoft has unveiled a new Halo tournament, dubbed the Halo World Championship. It’ll feature one million dollars in prizes, and will focus around Halo 5: Guardians. Additionally, the publisher revealed a new 1TB limited edition console, which will be up for pre-order “shortly” after the show.
I’m curious to see how the community will react to Halo 5. Based on the beta, I’m not crazy about it, but it has a number of conventions that have the potential to shift it into a popular eSport.
