I haven’t heard anything from Nintendo about gimmicks or non-play-related marketing bluster this year. Other than the fact that every first-party Wii U game I’ve seen on the show floor so far has off-TV play, it’s been all about how the games looks and how fun they are to play.It will be interesting to see if “just playing a fun videogame” is something that sells this holiday season.
