Update adds new features

Sony has updated their streaming music service, Music Unlimited, to better serve the 7 million PS4 owners out there. They say that the service is seeing an increase in users and usage, so they’ve added some new features and tweaks that should make these users happy.

The PS4’s Share button can now be used to share music. Simply press it while using Music Unlimited to share to Facebook or Twitter.

They’ve also added curated playlists to help users navigate the 25 million or so tracks. Beyond this, 230kbps AAC is now available for offline playback, and backend updates have also improved service speed. That last bit is good to hear because I tried it at launch and the load times were pretty rough.

Any Music Unlimited fans out there in Destructoid land? How are you finding it?
