Just a quick reminder
Well, this was wholly unnecessary. With next-gen consoles on the horizon, a remake of Demon’s Soulslaunching alongside the PlayStation 5, and so much else happening in the world, Elden Ringhas kind of gone forgotten about.
From Software is here to reopen that wound and pour salt in it.

For some reason, From Software brought up the George R.R. Martin collaborative effort just to remind everyone that we’re still eagerly awaiting this game. It didn’t come with any sort of news or tease or loose window about when we might hear more. Just “we acknowledge that you’re excited” and nothing else. In response to a Sekirotweet, no less!
Here’s a quick recap of the story thus far. From Software announced Elden Ringat Xbox’s E3 2019 press conference with a teaser trailer and no real details. Since then, it has basically been straight silence. We were supposed to see more at Taipei Game Show very early in the year, but that (like everything else) was canceled.
Who knows what’s going on, but From Software can’t just let sleeping dogs lie. Now you will see Elden Ringin a headline and think “Oh yeah, Elden Ring!” I’m sorry for inflicting this second-hand agony. Well, third-hand if you subscribe to my theory that Martin hasn’t written his bit which is holding up From, who’s teasing you on Twitter, which led to me writing a story that reminds you Elden Ringexists. It’s a whole logistics chain of frustration.
