Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata cleared the issue up in Nintendo’s financial briefing. In his words:
“They are full-remakes of the Game Boy AdvancePokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire games.”
Other than that, you’re on your own, as that’s all we’ve got for now. I’m sure we’ll hear much more next month at E3.
