Lessons from the heart
Solo: Islands of the Heart will be making its way to consoles next week. Landing on PS4 and Xbox One July 31, 2019, and Switch August 1, 2019, the game is an introspective puzzle platformer that gets you asking questions about your love life. It’s a very deep, charming game that I actually reviewed last year on PC. Then it was going simply as Solo, though I bet confusion with the Star Wars film prompted a name change.
There won’t be any significant changes to the console version apart from playing on a console. The nature of this game would make for a great grab on Switch what with its pick-up-and-play nature. The title is short and would make for a great way to pass the time during a commute. Even if you opt against Nintendo’s platform, you should definitely give Solo a shot. Everyone has doubts about their place in this world and Solo cuts to the core of how we feel about love and life. It’s worth it just for that.
