Sony extending PS Plus subscriptions following outage

No word on how large an extension

Monday this week, PSN went down for several hours on all Sony video game playing devices, from the PS3 and Vita to the PS4. Considering this meant paid services like PS Plus were not functioning, many consumers were unhappy about not being able to access a service they paid for.

To make up for this, Sony is apparently extending PS Plus subscriptions to make up for this period of lost service.

Thanks for your patience today – stay tuned for details on PS Plus, PS Now, and video rental extensions.

While the tweet says information is coming, we currently don’t know how much extra PS Plus people will be getting as an apology.

So, how much extra PS Plus do you think will make up for yesterday’s outage?
