Classic trilogy returns next month
Activision and developer Toys For Bob have released a final trailer heralding the return of late ’90s PlayStation hero Spyro the Dragon, who returns in just under a month in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Reignited takes the young dragon’s three classic adventures: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon – and rebuilds them, applying a fresh coat of paint for a new generation of fans. The launch trailer gives us a look at all three games in action, as well as reuniting us with a roster of forgotten friends and enemies.
Given the incredible success of the fellow PlayStation remake release Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, its a pretty snug bet that Activision will have another huge hit on their hands, when Spyro Reignited Trilogy launches, November 13, on PS4 and Xbox One.
