Super Mario Party's final cast is seemingly cemented in new video

Four unlocks makes 20 characters

By way of an official video from Nintendo’s site showing off what seems to be finalized Super Mario Party gameplay (it is coming in roughly a month after all), we seem to have a full roster confirmation.

Naturally Nintendo’s Fab Three (Mario, Luigi, Peach) are in, as are cross-genre staples like Waluigi, Yoshi, and Bowser. Minions include Koopa Troopa, Boo, Shy Guy, Monty Mole, and Hammer Bro. Two minions are secret characters (Pom Pom and Dry Bones) along with Donkey Kong and Diddy. In all the roster consists of 20 slots. Amazingly you might notice the removal of Toad and Toadette, which are going to be wrapped into the game itself. ::Extremely Toad voice:: UH-OH!

Super Mario Party is out on October 5 on Switch, and though the roster doesn’t excite me the idea of soft rebooting the series and not using numerical values has me intruiged.
