Celebrate by watching poor old Tex get beaten up
The fact that a new Tex Murphy game is just a few weeks away makes me really happy; it might not kick off a rebirth of the full-motion video adventure game genre but darn, it feels good to have Tex back in 2014. If you pre-order Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure from GOG.com then you’ll get 10 percent off the regular price, as well as the soundtrack and usual GOG goodies. Plus you’ll get your choice of one of Tex’s previous misadventures for free.
Pre-ordering on Steam will get you the same discount and soundtrack but no free game. It’s worth going back to the Tex Murphy games, even if it’s just to give you a primer for the new adventure.
