Today’s installment of ‘Holy hell, that’s a terrific idea!’
The Typing of the Dead has been neglected for long enough. Out of seemingly nowhere, it’s back and available on Steam with a new installment, The Typing of the Dead: Overkill. Normally priced at $19.99, if you buy the title before November 1, it’s only $9.99.
This appears to be exactly what the name suggests: a mash-up of Overkill with Typing of the Dead. Having never played that ridiculous game in any of its incarnations, that’s promising. I’d love to go in fresh with these new keyboard controls. (There’s also a port of the game included as well!) It’s not in there yet, but two-player co-op is supposed to be added in a free update.
Better work on that WPM.
