TowerFall: Ascension is an absolute bullseye on PS4

Out today on PS4 & PC

One summer at scout camp, I made quite a discovery. It was a latent ability to lob arrows with incredible accuracy. I’d always been a terrible shot with a BB gun, but found it almost effortless to pick up a bow and strike the middle of a target from a distance.

Patrick was able to soar with the PC version of TowerFall: Ascension, but sadly, I possess no such talent forthe indie archery game that’s also launching on PlayStation 4 today. Sure, it aims to be accessible, vaunting a simplistic control scheme. But it’s also abundantly clear that there’s plenty of nuance and depth behind the fighter’s retro-inspired 2D graphics. Some of those shiny new single player levels are absolutely brutal! Prepare to spend plenty of time honing your skills and playing with other local friends on PS4.

Oh, and you might want to invest in a few more DualShock 4 controllers. The multiplayer is totally killer.
