Now that the dust has settled on last year’s holiday releases and we’re comfortably into 2017, it’s safe to look back wistfully at everything you might have missed. There were a lot of big titles that launched in the September through December period; almost everyone surely had to skip something because of the sheer bulk of it all. Names like Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4, The Last Guardian, and Pokemondominated the conversation.

Hell, even Final Fantasyfans probably couldn’t keep up with just Final Fantasy. Square Enix released two installments late last year: World of Final Fantasy, and the much more talked-about and long-awaitedFinal Fantasy XV. It’s not tough to figure out which one more people found themselves buying.

If you’re one of those who found themselves forced to pass on World of Final Fantasy, we’ve teamed up with Amazon to help you rectify that. In a deal that’s unique to Destructoid readers, the PS4 version of World of Final Fantasyhas been discounted $25, down to $35 from the usual $60.

Here’s how it works. We have a promotional code that you’ll need. Go to Amazon and add World of Final Fantasyto your cart. At the checkout screen, enter “25DTOIDWFF” in the discount code field. Voila! You should be good to go.

There are a couple things to note: This deal is only valid on Tuesday, January 31 until 11:59pm Pacific. After that, the code vanishes into stardust or something. Also, if the discount isn’t applying properly, make sure that the one you’re buying is sold by Amazon. To change that, navigate to “other sellers” and find the listing where Amazon is the seller.

In his review, Darren calls World of Final Fantasy“well-done nostalgia farming,” a tangential experience that “very much feels like a core entry.” Also, he says “For those invested in the series up to this point, it’s so worth playing.” Chances are a lot of those invested people had their attention turned to Final Fantasy XVwhen World of Final Fantasyreleased. Here’s a good opportunity for those folks to give it a try now that their video game schedule isn’t quite as packed.
